On an electrifying night in Atlanta, the Frederick Douglass High School alumni—proudly known as the Astros—came together for an unforgettable evening of school spirit, fellowship, and NBA action!

 

Hosted at State Farm Arena, the event featured a thrilling showdown between the Atlanta Hawks and the Philadelphia 76ers, and the energy was off the charts. Our hometown Hawks did not disappoint, bringing the heat and securing a dominant 132–119 victory over the 76ers!

 

Astros from every graduating class filled the stands, repping Douglass High with pride, laughter, and cheers that echoed throughout the arena. It wasn’t just about basketball—it was about unity, legacy, and celebrating the powerful bond we share as alumni.

 

From pre-game meetups to in-game shoutouts and unforgettable moments on the Jumbotron, ASTROS Alumni Night was a resounding success. Whether you came for the game or the camaraderie, the memories made will last a lifetime.
